A dollar story
Recently, an Israeli woman related how over twenty years ago she was having health issues. Someone suggested she write to the Lubavitcher Rebbe for a blessing to recover from her illness. She did but never got a response.
Several years later she was on line for Sunday dollars that the Rebbe used to distribute to thousands practically every Sunday in the late 1980's and early 1990's. When this woman's turn came, the Rebbe handed her a dollar bill, then looked up at her and said "Edna (this woman's name), how is your health?"
The lady almost fainted. The Rebbe had had never seen her but somehow recognized her from that one letter she had sent in several years earlier.
