Upon seeing the Czar, the Alter Rebbe got up and said the appropriate blessing on seeing a king.
-How did you know it was me? Asked the Czar.
The Alter Rebbe answered:
-He who is accustomed to meeting the King of all Kings has no trouble recognizing an earthly king.
