Av is the 11th month on the Hebrew calendar so that makes 9 Av out 9/11.
This isn’t a big chiddush , the bigger chiddush is the ubiquitous (meaning they’re everywhere) Crocs. I got my fake ones in downtown CH, they work fine and at $4.00 a pop they’re not a bad deal. They make for perfect 9Av or YK shoes, they’re squishy and comfy, sort of like walking in two little swamps on your feet.
So if Hashem is making it easier for us to walk on 9 Av without getting blisters, would it be too much to ask Him to take away the whole thing? Let’s hope it’s some kind of a sign from Up Above. Now if we could only break the fast….
